G321 - Evaluation

This is my evaluation page for G321. I will be answering the 7 questions below, using my creativity and imagination as a media student.

1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? - As you can see, I have used 3 candidates to answer my following questions which I asked. For this question, I gave these actors each a script, which I wrote out for them, as the answers relate to my film.

2. How does your media product represent particular social groups? - I have created a news report, interviewing each social group which was/was not represented in the film I created. As you can see I am the reporter, interviewing the actor - which also was given an brief description of what I expected them to say. 

3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? - For this question, I created a storyboard with different characters. As you can see, I ask three different institutions whether or not they would distribute my film.

4. Who would be the audience for your media product? - As you can see in the short video I made below, I played Kathryn Bigelow; who was being interviewed by a presenter; describing her target audience.

5. How did you attract/address your audience? - I created a vlog style video, explaining the use of mis-en-scene, theories and target audience.

6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? - 

As you can see, I have created a short video of a man going into a Curry's store asking which

product is best to buy for him; and I will be telling him about the products and why they are useful.

7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product? - I have created a vlog style video, which demonstrates me talking about my progression from the preliminary task to the full product.
